ABOUT ME

I am an extremely easy-going person who loves to try anything twice. I love to make jokes and am sarcastic to a fault. Food, music and exploration are my major interests when I travel. When I'm at home I am a pretty big couch potato who loves the comfort of favorite foods and old friends. I have OCS (only child syndrome) and need alone time every once in a while or else I can become a grouch. I'm extremely empathetic and constantly worry about how other people are feeling. I hate people who cut others down and am not afraid to fight back if the situation arises, although I avoid confrontation at all costs. I speak my mind when people are willing to listen. Big groups tend to overwhelm me but I can hold my own if the need arises.

Interests

I am a traveler (duh), reader, writer, bad dancer, volunteer, runner, conversationalist, and eater. I love the architecture of churches. I'm a thrill-seeker if there is someone to do it with me. I worked at a wine store and I'm now a huge wine (snob) fan and appreciate beer as well. I love music and cultural festivals. I worked the music festival circuit in America. Volunteering is a big vice for me. Right now I work for the Peace Corps and am already planning volunteer work for when I get back. If I could I think I would just be a bartender for a few years, save up enough money to travel when I can and volunteer on the side. Ah, dreams.
