ABOUT ME
Greetings all! Thank you for looking at my profile. I am a fun, outdoorsy, sane world traveler looking to continue my human growth through new experiences! I very much look forward to meeting you new friend!
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind, listen well, eat good food and drink good wine, allow time to revel in what you perceive is the mundane, be there for friends, be nice to yourself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was on couchsurfing quite a number of years ago, and my door was open to all types of travelers all of the time. It was a wonderful experience and I'm pleased to say I made more than few great friends doing it.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to couchsurf but have had many people stayed on my couch and in my spare bedroom due to my close proximity to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Let's just day there is a permanent dent on my couch where all the butts used to be hahaha!
Interests
So many things! How to narrow it down? Art, photography, haute couture, literature, music, hiking, foods I've never tried, vintage motorcycles. Let me say that again; vintage motorcycles.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a voracious reader but am particularly enamoured with South American writers. Allende, Hijuelos. So florid, so descriptive.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many wonderful experiences. I remember backpacking through the Swiss Alps in one of the last of their spring snowfalls and being wet, cold and miserable. Then we chanced upon a field of several new lambs all white and downy soft-frolicking, jumping off rocks, so happy to be alive. I spent hours watching and laughing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Although I am not a fan of the book Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence I can tell you I have reached enlightenment traveling on the back of my '79 Honda cafe racer. I would love to share the experience only traveling across this great country and others on a motorcycle can bring. The chill in the air, the open road, the flat tires, the aching back. It all lends a new experience most don't have the privilege of having.
