ABOUT ME

My name is Kandace my close friends call me kan'dance' . I love to dance, I cycle everywhere I can and I absolutely adore my bike.

I am 26
and full of love and life (people tell me this)

I am on an adventure of freedom, I seem to forget as easily as I am reminded that I love just being. figuring out where I will sleep just before, nothing too tightly planned. I aim to be present.

aside from those aspirations. I love hanging out, climbing trees. and connecting conversation.

I have a tent and am super easy going. I am respectful of others space and look forward to meeting loads of new people.

PHILOSOPHY

life is cyclic, everything happens for a reason and is interconnected. i live to live, i feel very deeply that i have something to offer many people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently surfing and when I have my own space I plan to give back to other travellers what many others are willing to offer me.

I spread my love of CS verbally and have encouraged other friends to join and make this community stronger.

When I am surfing, I can be found cleaning your space and offering to make dinner, I form community through action

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

oh jeez!

the first story that comes to mind was from years ago when I first heard of couchsurfing (2005) and I was living in a collective hippie house with 11 other people. We had a large amount of space in our backyard and bsmt for surfers and almost always had one. I rmbr a few who loved it so much they became permanent backyard residents. exchanging food/ cooking/ cleaning for space in our gardens. at one point we had over 16 people. it was some kind of magic!

I can often be found under a bridge near a set of tracks reading, writing and feeling the rumble of an oncoming train. it's pure magic.
