ABOUT ME

my name is abigail blue. my favorite color is mustard yellow and violet. i love meeting new people. i studied philosophy and art. house of leaves is currently my favorite book. i love to dance. vodka or tequila-sour and dark beer are my drinks of choice. i enjoy arguing for intellectual sake. i like playing pool. i used to play the saxophone. i work late nights and wind down after by painting or reading. or drinking. or both.

PHILOSOPHY

i believe that in order to make others happy you have to make yourself happy first. this doesn't mean be selfish, but to know and grow within yourself, do what you have to do to find your life-force and follow that with every hair on your head. in this process you will meet like-minded individuals, change your world, and change others' as well. love makes the world go 'round. worst comes to worst dance and shout, that always helps.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a small studio that i'm more then willing to share with the couch surf world. a floor is all i have to offer, but my carpet is soft and my blankets are warm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couchsurfing brought me a great friend. he was across the country in my state working and he used couchsurfing to meet up with people for a weekend. i met him dancing at a bar and we were friends ever since.
then, while studying abroad i used couch surfing while train-hopping my way across europe, 11 countries in 3 weeks! i still think fondly of my hosts and the adventures we had.

Interests

i have interests in everything and will talk to anyone about anything. art and philosophy are my studies but religion, clothes, beer, physics, food, sex, the universe, hair...it's all fair game. if you were going to be an animal what animal would you be? let me know in your message.

Music, Movies, and Books

i love all music, anything that can make me sing or dance or think.
as for movies i enjoy a wide variety of them, comedy, docs, animated...
my favorite books have been house of leaves, but i'm into memories and the beat generation right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i went skydiving over lake tahoe. also, in general, i tend to bring the bizarre...not necessarily in a bad way, but i always seem to come out of any situation with an interesting story. I've survived on little to nothing in my past surfing and those are my favorite stories.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can knit and make a mean spinach dip. im good with advice. i like teaching and learning about sex, drugs, and rock and roll. id like to become better at the harmonica. at taking photos. at painting my nails. at knowing how to fix a car.
