I am Australian, my husband, Casey is American/Australian and we are currently in Kentucky, USA, visiting relatives. We travel a lot, from local camping trips to big international adventures; it has become a way of life for us.

I have two gifts that many people are jealous of: being able to sleep anywhere, anytime; and not getting bitten by mosquitoes.

MOVIES...Withnail and I, Spirit of the Beehive, Science of Sleep, Jim Jarmusch, Hal Hartly, Ken Loach, Mike Leigh, Antonioni, Ingmar Bergman, Fassbinder, Godard, Truffaut, Jeunet, Lynch, Moodysson, Kurasawa, Wong Kar Wai, Andrei Tarkovsky, Tony Gatlif, Miyazaki, etc..oh, and I like a good documentary and great tv comedies on dvd.
BOOKS...so much (an addiction? They make me so happy), fiction and non. At the moment, lots of poetry.
MUSIC...ever-changing. Radio DavidByrne.com is great.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Manali to Leh (northern India) by motorbike, and all of Ladakh in general, and Kashmir too. By far the biggest and best adventure ever possible. I felt like I was in a dream for the entire six weeks and am still coming down from the high.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can give you acupuncture if I have my needles with me.
I like to cook, and I can sew.
I want to learn to be an expert bike repairer and builder (teach me to weld!), to knit something more complicated than a scarf, to keep bees, and to play the piano.
