ABOUT ME

After living and travelling abroad for 6 years, I returned back to the UK for a masters degree . . After 2 years back in the UK, I am on the road again putting my new life master plan into effect. I am working as a translator as I go along, and teaching a bit of English for fun as well . . . the temptation is that I think I could carry on like this for a long time! Its working out. .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just made myself 'available' for hosting, and looking forward to giving back some of the generosity I have received.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great time couchsurfing in in Europe and more recently in Mexico and the US last year. The people I stayed with were such an amazing testimony to what CS is all about. I really felt like I made friends whom I would be happy to see again in the future!

Interests

In addition to globe trotting,like reading, listening to the radio, staring out the window, cups of tea, theater, red wine and cheesy crackers, rock bands, meditation, riding a bicycle . . . there is loads more . .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught a Chinese movie star English with a London accent; learned how to ride a Tibetan yak; trekking in Nepal pretty amazing; saw Jack White last night, and that was incredible too.

Really interested in local history, heritage and modernity so have a lot to say about my local area which I love! I teach English as a foreign language in the UK so happy to help anyone wanting to improve their English!
