About Me

UPDATE
I haven't been on CS for years now, actually since having children so it's probably around 7 years now shock horror
I am now living in North London, the area is called Turnpike Lane (zone 3 on Picadilly Line). I live with my partner and two children who keep me mad busy but I'd consider hosting every now and then. I can't really show around London or stay up too late during the week but I'll try to give advice etc. Considering I have children in the house I can only host someone who's got a proven track record on CS; sorry but it's a massive community now!!!

CURRENT MISSION

To go to Caucasus. And start learning Italian again.

PHILOSOPHY

I read an interview with some celebrity today where she said her motto was: 'Live life as if it were your last day'. A bit of a cliche, I know but hey...let's think it over... my dishes would never get washed, bills paid or shopping done (unless shopping for clothes obviously; I'd definately do that in copious amounts; you never know what parties you'll be attending in an afterlife:)... I kind of like the idea

Interests

Travelling...duhhh...just how original is that? Comparative linguistics, anything to do with languages really...

Music, Movies, and Books

I've got a bit of a fixation about System of a Down as I'm sure my friends and neighbours will tell you he he... while asking me to bloody turn that thing down once and for all.

Films-wise Iranian cinema in general, Lars von Tiers or however you spell that, old classic Polish movies are good, too.

Music-wise - where do I start? Have I mentioned SOAD?? Well, I also like Tool, Fields of the Nephilim, Sisters of Mercy etc, Therion, the Gathering - all dark and spooky. Also Anthony and the Jonsons

Books - I've just realised I hadn't read anything that hit me really hard recently, maybe because I'm too much into dictionaries and travel guides at the moment but i do like Vonnegut
