ABOUT ME

I grew up in Chicago, USA. I went to University in California where I lived for 3 years. After graduating I moved to a small village in France just over the boarder from Geneva Switzerland, where I was an Au Pair for a year. Once I finished my year there I went to Rennes in the north of France to get my TEFL certificate, and went to Toulouse to find a teaching job. Unfortunatly I didn't have a visa and couldn't find a job so I went back to Chicago for two years where I worked for a company called Rail Europe and sold train passes and tickets for European vacations. I really enjoy traveling and moving around so I got a little stir crazy and took a job teaching English in Fukuoka Japan, where I lived for a little over two years. Upon leaving Japan I took a boat to China and picked up the Trans-Siberian in Beijing and made my way back to Switzerland by train. As of last November I've moved back to the states, Sacramento CA, where I'm in the process of becoming a high school English teacher. I had a really good time couchsurfing on my trip and now it's my turn to do some hosting. So I look forward to hosting....if anyone ever has a need to come to Sacramento?? Also, I hope soon to be traveling again and maybe crashing with you :-)
