I'm just a quasi-struggling writer traveling around writing magazine articles and a book about trees. Sometimes I'm on the road; other times I'm holed up in a cabin in the woods trying to write.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the AT from Georgia to Maine. Not every day was amazing---some of them were pure misery---but as a cumulative experience, it was revelatory.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach a few things about language and storytelling, I suppose---I'm always editing my friends' application essays for med school and the like. One thing I'd like to learn? How to fly fish.
