Overview
About Me
My name is Daniel Moore, I am a recent graduate from the University of Portsmouth and my chosen degree subject was combined modern languages (French and Spanish). I have travelled extensively already in my 23 years, having live abroad in France and Spain as part of my studies, as well as trips to New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Norway. I am passionate about meeting new people and exploring new areas and ways of life, as is highlighted by my study of languages I am a confident, outgoing type (and I'm still interested in learning new languages too!). I love sports and adventure, having been a keen footballer and runner throughout my school and university life, as well as being a member of my local gym. I'm new to couchsurfing and I'm very excited to make new friends on my travels, any accommodation would be greatly appreciated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've always enjoyed meeting new people and this seems like the ideal forum in which to do that. It also has a great economic element as it proves to be a lot cheaper than having to stay in hostels or hotels, particularly in the bigger cities. Primarily, however, it is to meet locals in the destinations I'm travelling to and to learn all I can about their homes to make the most of my own experience!
Interests
Socialising, partying, languages, football, cinema, reading, debating, politics, foreign cinema. I also have a keen interest in all things Middle Eastern, it's been a pleasure of mine to study the region and the many cultures that lie within it, I would love to meet people from that area to learn even more about it!

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Federico Garcia Lorca in terms of literature, he has to be my favourite. In terms of music and movies, I'm incredibly open-minded and I'm always interested in discovering new genres so anything that people could show me I would love to discover!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once bungee jumped in New Zealand, very scary but the greatest thrill of my life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have undertaken football coaching qualifications in the UK, in case anybody wanted to learn/improve their football abilities. I could also share my exposure and experience of other cultures as well as my own, particularly in terms of political and social issues.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My language abilities, I also would like to think that I am a good chef and would be happy to cook for anybody kind enough to host me at their place.

Australia, Belgium, France, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain
Countries I’ve Lived In
