Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I originally signed up to couchsurfing years ago actually looking to sleep on strangers' couches - now I am trying to get back in the game, but with more of a focus on making friends in new places and seeing those places through the eyes of locals (while staying out of their hair - and couches - at night). :)

Interests

I love cooking, reading, eating, drinking, listening to music (and playing/singing a bit). Beer is my most prominent passion, but I also spend a bit of time cooking - nothing fancy, but cooking simple dishes is a great way for me to relax.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Many different genres regarding movies... I do, however, love The Godfather and Casablanca. :) Scorsese, Tarantino, Lord of the Rings. Generally, classics, gangster movies and I like a good comedy.

Music: Led Zeppelin, Tom Waits, Jack White, Django Reinhardt, The Black Keys, Depeche Mode, Nick Cave, Miles Davis, Jazz, rock, blues, metal... a little of this and a little of that, but a lot of old junk :D

Books: classics, a bit of poetry, beer and wine and some other non-fiction

Walked down 5th Avenue for NYC Pride with my best friend and our couchsurfing host - a loving and inclusive event.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some chords on the guitar (I still owe a host/good friend some lessons) or a few danish phrases (not that it'd be very useful but it might impress someone).
