ABOUT ME

My favourite things in life are either on top of the world or underneath it.... That is; hiking and mountains or scuba diving and caves.

I love everything that is outdoors, being with nature and being active. I am slightly too addicted to the word "challenge."

I’m currently working as a full-time Civil Engineer in Rail (Track and Civil) in Melbourne
and as a ‘hobby job’ I teach Scuba Diving (PADI instructor)

I’m obsessed with cheese, wine, coffee and dark chocolate. Recently exploring tea and shisha

Always a fan of a good party and boogy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First couch surfed in Jordan, Amman through a Taiwanese traveller I met who was couch surfing with some locals. It was a FANTASTIC experience (Hazem was a great guy and really hospitable!).

They took us to the local areas including secret hot springs that overlooked the dead sea. Epic!

I absolutely love the hospitality that travellers seem to universally receive and really hope I can give some back =)

Music, Movies, and Books

-Can't say I watch movies much these days, unless it's just a social thing.

-Music: probably born in the wrong generation. I love Beatles, ELO, Genesis, Johnny Cash... But also some triple J music. But anything with rhythm. Music in Africa/Middle East was always awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Far too many (certainly grew up in a lucky country)

Up there would have to be:
- summiting huyana potosi in Bolivia (6088m)
- a 5.5 hour Cave dive in Mexico
- An 82m deep Cave dive in Florida

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach anything about coffee snobbery (and wine ... )

I can also teach scuba diving and take people beginner caving (near Melbourne).
