About Me
Hi there 👋
During my 6-month trip to Malaysia in 2019/20 without an airplane (~25,000 km, including almost 9,000 km hitchhiking), I was able to have many great experiences thanks to Couchsurfing, and the concept really impressed me.
I'm looking forward to getting to know new people and mindsets and becoming even more open-minded through the exchange.
Travelling =|= Tourism. I prefer the first.
I am very happy to get to know you 😊
Kind regards
Michael
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Learn from people and experiences instead of only filling checklists with seen sights
Interests
I do Krav Maga (self-defense martial arts) and, thanks to the location, I enjoy spending time in the mountains, mostly Hiking or Canyoning. And since December I'm proud owner of a Gravel Bike, too.
Also I enjoy going to art exhibitions, but preferably not too mainstream, as I don't find that very inspiring.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Rap (in Deep), East European Gangster Rap, German Poetry
Books: preferably English, where I feel I can learn something from them, therefore sometimes older books to better understand what it was like before our highly technologized times
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling half a year by myself with swimming in Lake Baikal at -10 °C, randomly sleeping in empty damaged houses in Vietnam and hitchhiking with nearly 100 drivers for nearly 9000 km.
Met Magda and her cats (weird Polish cat lady).
...
Maybe next thing: met YOU 🙃
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about all different kind of stuff (like getting a better version of yourself)
