About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people and experience new things. :)

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone,
I am traveling now in the U.S. It has been great. I met a lot of wonderful people and had some great experiences.
I love learning about other cultures, learning new languages, and eating new foods. (as long as their not too weird. lol).
I can't think of what to write here because i am not used to talking about myself. :)
I guess my friends would say that I am kind, loyal, a great friend, caring, save the world one person at a time kind of person....with a touch of stand up comedian healthy nutiness...and a bit of a deep philosopher type. I love laughing, dancing, singing, helping, making a difference.
I love cooking yummy things for people, and I love when they cook for me yummy things. :)

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy in life is "love".I believe that we are all connected and our souls are sharing this human experience. I want to find like mind people who have the same philosophy of sharing experiences and life with others so to create more positive energy for this world.

Aside from that deep thinking.... :) ...i am very down to earth, warm person, and a total goofball.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had a few couchsurfing experiences now. Except for one funny one with a non-working airmattress which the host attempted to plug with a shot glass and some redneck tape....LOL....my other experiences were great. :)
I think couchsurfing is a wonderful idea, and when i meet people whom i think would be fitting for this - i always spread the word. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes vary. Some of the music i hear is connected to learning how to sing songs for a big voice range so they are things like: Celine dion, Lara Fabian (French, English, Italian), Barbra streisand(when i was younger to learn how to sing), Laura Pausini, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli. Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride.
Other music i love is: The frey, Linkin park, Eva Cassidy, James Taylor, Evanescence, 3 doors down, nickel back, nickel creek, fuel, live, etc.
There are many other songs that i like by rock bands but i don't necessarily remember their names now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I had a chance to love and be loved by very special people. My older sister who was an amazing person and touched so many lives even though her time on earth was short, and my grandmother, Luba, whose philosophy of giving has touched me so.

2. I had the privlage to sing to American Navy, Army and Marines overseas for years. That was an amazing experience.
I got to say "thank you" to the Amerian Patriot soldiers (which is what we called the soldiers who came to protect us with the partiot missiles during the gulf war). This was an amazng thing for me since at the time i was underage, and no one was able to get out of the house because we were waiting for biological and chemical warfare. There weren't even police in the streets. I went out with a guitar on one hand, and a gas mask on the other to a military base where even while i was singing we knew there may be a siron at any time to stop the show and we would have to run to underground bunkers and put the gas masks on.

Luckily chemical and biological warfare didn't come.

3. NOVEMBER 2010: NO MATTER WHAT YOUR POLITICAL VIEW THIS IS A COOL THING I GOT TO DO ON MY TRAVEL. I SHOOK THE HAND OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

i have survived a many things in life. i think maybe something i have to share are my life experiences, strength and my appreciation of life.

I would love to learn anything from anyone because i think believe that there are no coincidences in life. I will be guided to the people who have things to teach me, or that i have something to teach them.

As far as specifics, I would love to meet people on 2 very different scales of knowledge. I am both left brain and right brain.
It would be great to meet people who are into things like finances, and economics which fascinate me, as well as artists who draw, paint, sculpt. Maybe meet people who are into music like songwriters.
