ABOUT ME

A Stones and Beatles fan. I believe that there is nothing in life that compares to cold beer and good friends!

I dream about being a geneticist, but this dream currently oscillates between astronaut, mining engineer, host of a program adventure, diplomat, chemistry [math and physics] teacher, scientist-of-everything, volunteer... I unfortunately never made any explosions on my house, but I used to [accidentally! - make it clear] set fire on bookshelves, dishcloths (don't EVER let me cook!), clothes and ants (on purpose, with magnifying glass. Don't blame me, who never?). I shouldn't have confessed this considering that forward I'll beg shelter... Cof, cof. Let's move on. Hey, I WAS A GREAT KID, ok?! Live an apartment never corrupted my childhood, I always did a lot of mess and constantly my mom put me grounded. Most of times in front of wall - she said it helps to think about your acts. 'll understand...

I did a lot of hyperactivity tests and they pointed all negative. Guess what?, my mom went crazy. No one could believe that little blond devil hasn't no cerebral disorder.

Playing football with boys in street and climbing trees was my favorite activity at all. I had freedom: my hair was always wild and clothes dirty of glue (tree resin, from pines - liked it a lot). About studies... I was approved twice to the Brazilian Olympics of Physics but I also have two bombs on school grade. Not exactly the perfect student.

When I remember it, I miss it. But I'm a grown lady right now and my 20 (almost 21) years old doesn't let me do that old stuff again. That's why I decided to meet the world. And I must thank whoever created us for putted me on such amazing family who had shown me all the steps to pursuit this wonderful dream. Specially my mom, who raised me by herself, depositing on me all the affection that a "completely" family could give to a son.

That's all. Novos Baianos used to sing: "eu sou amor da cabeça aos pés". And this is what I really am. And I'm ready to love you. Come on, you can love me too! I don't bite! :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently asking for trips advices and inviting new people to meet me and my friends in BH city. I'm also open to talk about this wonderful state called Minas Gerais and this STUNNING country called BraSil! PLEASE, ASK ME! I didn't create CS to delete it after! As I told you, I don't bite!

Music, Movies, and Books

The thing I most enjoy in life with friends and family is music. I DO HAVE a limitless undying love [which shines around me like a million of suns] for Beatles, Stones and Novos Baianos (one of the most important brazilian bands), but there's a lot of other musicians I appreciate.

Movies? Ok, ok, I assume I have no patience with this kind of program, I cannot always keep myself quiet. Yes, go ahead, call me crazy... But I grew up reading Harry Potter books so you can presume a lot with it.

Books? I won't tell you my favorite books. I'll do better. I'll tell you what I FEEL when I read them. I like those books who makes us raise the head after a long time reading, and makes us think. I often have this feeling reading fairy tales. And the interest thing is that I can also have it with a math book. Maybe you feel the same and that means you're my brother/sister.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm able to share my eternal happiness, my shining eyes to see the world. I'm able to share my tastes and also my friendship and devotion. I wish I could meet people who often say yes to a last minute trip. I might not be able to talk 4, 5, languages (don't worry, I'm working on it!), but I can understand enough of two languages to help whoever needs it.
