About Me
ABOUT ME
I've been in Haiti Since August 2010, working for Fonkoze (a large Haitian Microfinance Institute).
PHILOSOPHY
I'll have to put together something more profound.. but for the time being I can say that I value people who put thought into what they say.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've done a lot of couchsurfing in South America- using CS to find places to stay and also random people to meet with. Now that I am settled- in Haiti, I'm up for hosting travelers, meeting people for a drink, or just providing tips

Music, Movies, and Books
Last movie I really liked- Inglorious Bastards. Last book- the Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao.
Music- to name a few- Nina Simone, Architecture in Helsinki, Lupe fiasco, Jarabe de Palo, Just Jack, Clap Your Hands, Manu Chao.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While traveling in Peru I chased down a huge man who stole my backpack, and managed to get it back! Pretty proud of myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
Pretty random, but I just learned about Dicrocoelium dendriticum. This seems like something out of a science fiction movie, but its legitmate.
