The best part of going anywhere is getting to meet and connect with people. For me that's what I remember the most from any trip. So I want to continue to meet folks from all over the world and share our perspectives on the world.

I love art! I'm happiest when I can draw people or when I get to go out dancing. I also have a strong interest in learning about other cultures (might be the mini anthropologist or counselor in me). And the beauty of nature often calls to me.

Currently I'm really into Beyonce's recent album! Aside from her though, I really enjoy most kinds of music (pop, 80s, 90s , triphop, electronica, rock, etc).
My favorite movies are The Fifth Element, Run Lola Run, The Lion King, and Little Miss Sunshine. As for books, I really enjoy fiction and love anything by Octavia Butler.

Being able to be a part of the rebuilding effort in New Orleans. I was able to serve as a volunteer to help fix and build homes for residents. It was amazing for me because I was able to learn new skills, train others, and become connected to the city.
