Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had so much luck within my travels yet and met so many amazing people, so I want to share my experiences and give something back by showing some guest around in our beautiful hometown! Unfortunately we haven't space at the moment to host someone, but we are happy to meet people and show them some good places or help if there are any problems.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We surfed a couch in Portugal and met a very nice girl in New York and went out!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first time we were in New York, we just hopped into the train to get to our hotel with a small printed map with our stop. It was late and we didn't think of diffculties to find our way, we were so excited! When we stepped out into the night, we were a bit dissapointed, we'd expected it to be illuminated and busy. In fact it was kind of quiet and there were not many people walking around. So we started looking for our hotel. It was winter and freezing, slighty snowing like snow spray, peaceful falling down in the street light's cone. So we kept on walking through Harlem with all our lugagge, lost, starting so get the creeps. Finally an ambulance stopped. They asked us where we need to go and gave us a ride to our hotel in the back of the car...What a service...Amazing! Still I can almost cold of the night and the warmth of theses people... New York loves us :)
