Overview
About Me
I'm currently a Peace Corps Volunteer, serving in the bush of Senegal, so while I would love to host people, for now it's not really an option. I grew up in Nevada, but lived near NYC for six years before moving to my current hut. I enjoy a little bit of everything, from biking around bush paths to visiting museums and seeing plays. I love to travel and work on my languages, but I also like to relax with a good (or great) meal and chat.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel, often alone, and am always eager to meet new people on my adventures. I like to get the "local" experience when I go somewhere new, rather than the typical tourist experience.
Interests
Walking/hiking, reading, museums, plays, biking, food, cooking, rock climbing (though I'm very much a newbie), swimming, skiing, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I tend to pick up and move a lot, and each of those times has been a different kind of adventure. I think my current adventure as a PCV is pretty great, but my experiences in East Africa were still some of the best times of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to relax and talk over good food and drink, as well as go explore new places. I'm always interested in other people's stories and in sharing some good tales of my own.
