I'm a first-time traveller all the way from Wellington, New Zealand, making the most of a year off after finishing university by travelling through Europe. I have travelled through Sri Lanka, Jordan and Greece with my cousin and her partner for the last few months but I'm on my own from here on out so I am hoping to meet people via couch surfing!

I love reading and will read just about anything, although the limited range of hostel book exchanges is testing my limits - Mills and Boon isn't really my style.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Visited the site of the irrigation scheme that my great-grandfather Paul was the resident engineer on in Minipe, Sri Lanka. The scheme helped bring water to a lot of Sri Lankans in need and it was pretty awesome meeting the people still benefitting from his work as well as honouring his memory.
