About Me
Note: I am from Chicago but I am currently traveling so I am not able to host or meet up there - however, super happy to give recommendations if you want! It’s a great city and there is so much to do and explore there. ❤️

A miniature female the ripe age of 23 that's just looking to make new friends in cool, new places. Come adventure with me - I'm most likely to be found lying in the grass, clambering over rocks, or giggling on a mountain. I usually come with my favorite food in the world (dried figs) and a hella lot of energy. If I'm not laughing or smiling, I've probably passed out and you should call an ambulance.
Deeming myself a “high-functioning hippie,” food is my passion, food waste reduction is my career, and solving the social justice issue(s) of hunger and all it touches is my mission. Intellectual conversation is my bread and butter (despite being allergic to both), so please tantalize me with conversation about what sets your soul on fire.
Constantly looking for new, quirky places to explore and immerse myself in. Especially involving beautiful nature, beautiful cultures, and beautiful people. If you have any recommendations or stories to tell, I'm all ears!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of having a new friend in every new place I go. Always down to meet new people and experience new things, couchsurfing seemed like the best place for me. I am excited to meet people as passionate about travel and embracing the world as I am, and hear what your soul has to share.

Music, Movies, and Books
Book: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Music: everything but mainly indie folk rock
Movies: anything that is a health documentary on Netflix - Forks Over Knives anyone? Usually don’t watch movies though, I’ll be honest. I’m usually moving and doing something active, or eating.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked a 7,000 ft mountain 3 months after major knee surgery - brace and all 🤙
And then did Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp 2 weeks after released from Physical Therapy... yes I did cry tears of joy at the sight of the mountains 😂
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always down to teach belly dance and Bollywood dancing to those enthusiastic to listen // I love to cook, but (due to allergies and being a huge environmentalist) I have to eat gluten free, vegan, and paleo - so if you want to cook or bake anything in that area, I'm your girl! // I will happily talk about everything and anything - hearing others' stories is one of my favorite past times // I would love to share the experience of exploring anything nature-involved with you! Let's go hiking, climbing, biking, kayaking, all of it.
