About Me

23 year old born and raised in Launceston Tasmania. Made the big move to Melbourne at the age of 18 to embark on my university studies. After finishing 4 hard years of study I decided to save as much money as I could and book a 3 and a half month trip to Europe!

Easy going and always up to try something new and challenging - I'm so excited to go on the adventure of a lifetime and encounter the amazing landscapes, people and culture Europe has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

You can't beat the insight local people have in their home town, those hidden gems and absolute must sees are always best coming from someone who has experienced it themselves.

I think Couchsurfing is one of the best platforms to meeting like minded individuals, giving me the opportunity to open up my home to them if they were ever to come visit in Australia.

Interests

I enjoy getting outside and trekking my way through new locations. I love being a little bit lost and stumbling across something unexpected.

Also a bit of a foodie (comes with the nature of my job) and love matching it with good booze!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise, I will happily listen and enjoy pretty much all genres of music.

I go through phases of what music I like most. At the moment I enjoy Balearic house music as it's always great for background tunes.

I'm just starting to learn how to watch movies! Yes I struggled to sit still for long enough and stay tuned.

But I'm happy to watch anything as long as it's not a horror or gore based film!

I'm currently reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell. It's pretty heavy as it covers how the brain works but also really interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saved a baby dolphin with my dad at the beginning of this year! The little guy had beached himself and after a couple of attempts we safely got him back out to sea.

It was a pretty special moment and something I will always remember!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a laid back and happy person who will always be up for something new and challenging. I'm more than happy to help out and volunteer my time to any community based activities whilst visiting your home town.

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, New Zealand, Philippines
