Overview
About Me
I'm a new student at CEU this year, studying history. (September in Budapest. October-December in Vienna).
Interested in anthropology, sociology, philosophy. In undergrad I studied mostly Middle East history, culture, and politics.
I'd really like to learn more about activist communities in this part of the world (particularly interested in feminist, queer, labor, housing movements). Still trying to get (politically) oriented here in Budapest and Vienna, so would really appreciate if you can share info or let me know about events.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A couple reasons:
1. I love spending time with people. Living, cooking, talking, drinking, etc. I especially enjoy conversation, hearing new perspectives.
2. I know there are established communities fighting good fights all over the world. Couchsurfing has helped me to find these communities more easily.
Interests
Humans, books, art (art theory, art history, and other stuff), leftist political movements, really into film these days, nature (hiking, camping), meditation

Would love to share sarcastic remarks. Humor is something I tend to miss when traveling alone.
