Hello all! I'm Morgan, and dare I say I'm pretty fucking rad! (Or at least that's what my mom keeps telling me)

I'm originally from the good ol' US of A but I grew up for a large portion of my life in Berlin, Germany. I'm extremely grateful to be able to look back on my childhood and recognize how growing up in these two different places shaped me. I've got such a broad understanding of the world and a thirst to keep seeing what's out there that I don't think will ever go away. I've moved around a lot since I was 17, and mostly because of boredom and an underlying fear of missing out on whatever else was out there.

Other shit about me: I curse a lot. But I read somewhere once that people who curse tend to be much more honest than people who don't, sooo I've got that going for me! I love a good laugh. I'm terrible at taking myself or situations in general too seriously. I'm a kid trapped in an adult body and I really don't think that's ever going to change.

It's something new that I've never really tried before and would love to start this new chapter in my life by experiencing new things. Plus I love meeting people and this seems like a great way to do that.

Interesses

I love books! Reading is what keeps me going. Give me a good book and a glass of wine and I'm in heaven. I'm actually a bit of a writer myself, whenever I can focus my brain enough to actually sit down and cohesively put my thoughts on paper, even just trying to sit here and fill out this whole fucking profile is killing me. Here in Berlin I occasionally submit content to an english speaking blog. I mostly write reviews on movies, art exhibits or openings, concerts etc. It's super fun and I really want to continue doing something similar in Melbourne as well.

I'm also really into fashion. I've been thinking about going into styling, but I'm extremely torn between that and the whole eventually becoming a writer people take seriously thing. I take a lot of pride in the way I present myself to people, not because I'm starved for attention, but mostly because I'm not talented at all when it comes to trying to artistically express myself through visual mediums, so clothing is how I make it happen. Some people can draw (the best I can draw is a stick figure, on a good day maybe I can, at the most, muster up some sort of top hat for him), others can paint (every single thing I try and paint turns into an "abstract" piece) but I've got my outfits.

Other than that most of my interests are pretty typical. I am head over heels in love with museums, as I get older I'm also starting to enjoy grabbing a coffee with friend a bit more than grabbing a drink at a bar (but trust and believe, I still LOVE doing that too...maybe too much?)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I'm not going to sit here and list all my favorite shit because honestly, as I'm sure it is for everyone, my tastes are broad and endless and trying to wrack my brain for them would take all damn day. And frankly, ain't nobody got time for that!

But to give you an idea: Music=Life. I love all genres and all genres love me. What I listen to changes like the wind. At the moment I've been listening to a lot of old school rock a la KISS, the Ramones, Rush, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts etc. But about a month ago I was super into Tyler, the Creator and was listening to him, Drake, A$AP Rocky and the like. When I go out it's almost exclusively to clubs that play electronic music. So, as you can see, my taste is broad as fuck.

I'm going to be honest, I can't cook for shit. But I'm pretty alright at baking, so maybe I can make you a yummy sweet snack if you're into that? I'm also awesome at following directions/reading lists so if you need a few errands run I can do that for you too. I also don't mind a bit of cleaning either. And the most important thing I can offer is my awesome self as company for a few days, and who wouldn't want that?!
