I am from Alaska originally, lived for 2 years in Germany and one year in northern California. Germany was an amazing experience, and my eyes were opened to about a billion new things. The more I learn the more I know I do not know, and the more places I want to go, go back to, or stay longer!!!! I am interested in traveling and learning about different places and cultures.

Last fall, I decide to take a leave of absence from teaching, rented out my house, got a camper van, and drove away! I went from Alaska across Canada, south and east to Rhode Island, then south along the Appalachian mountains to Florida, took a pit stop in Arizona, and am now visiting friends and family in California and soon heading north to Oregon!

I spent some time traveling in Brazil with local hosts and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I enjoy sharing Alaska with people, and learning about different places and cultures.
