I'm currently studying law in Los Angeles and plan to become a union lawyer, but before that I taught ESL for several years in Chicago, Moscow, and LA. I love to read, ride public transit, and talk about lefty politics. I'm lively in a small group but quiet in a crowd.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've gotten a lot out of couchsurfing in the past, both on my own and traveling with my partner. I find I get a better perspective on cities when I couchsurf -- it feels like a much more human way to experience a new place!
