Informazioni generali
Chi sono
I'm from Sicily but I'm a student of Political Science and International Relations in Turin (Italy) but living in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) for a semester.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
Well, I didn't visited (or lived) in many countries, but I think I really know some of them, 'cause when I travel I don't just visit museums or things like that. I really want to carry something home from that place (and I'm not just talking about some postcards).
I tried a lot of ways to travel like backpacking or hitchhiking... and a lot of way to enjoy the stay like hostals (I've some tales about that), hotels, camping or even just to visit a city for a day and then take the first bus to go home and sleep there.
Now it's time for me to be a couchsurfer and try this experience!
Interessi
A lot of my interests are linked to what I study, like foreign policy, voluntary, international cooperation, international development, history and politics of Latin America, Spanish and its linguistic differences among the spanish-speaking countries.

Musica, film e libri
I'm not good with music genres, so I could mention some bands I love: Verdena (they are italians), Tool, Kimya Dawson, Blonde Redhead, At The Drive-In.
I watch a lot of tv series and in the last years I'm not reading like before 'cause of university, but I'm a natural born reader.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Since 2012 I've a chilean penpal... In 2014 I won a scholarship in my university (that I should have use to pay taxes, to buy books and useful stuff to study)... Instead I bought a RT ticket to spend 52 days in Chile, during exams period, to travel as a backpacker with him, "hasta el fin del mundo" (Chilean Patagonia).
My only regret is to came back in Italy... I would do it again right now and I consider Chile my second home, the place where I'll move after my degree.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
I'm from south of Italy, and if there's something that they teach you since the day you born is to... cook. No, I'm kidding, they teach you to cook but even to be welcoming and friendly with your guests.
