Overview
About Me
I'm currently living in St.Louis where I work at a mapping company. I love to travel, explore, and spend time outside. Ever since I graduated from school I have wanted to see new places and experience different cultures, whether that be half way around the world or just an hour from my home. I think there is something special in getting out and meeting new people and sharing stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to learn more about the local culture of the place I am visiting. I have only participated in couch surfing a few times, and so far it has been by far my favorite way to travel! By joining couch surfing, I hope to make new friends from all walks of life, and create new memories.
I have both been a couch surfer and hosted.
Interests
Nature, yoga, dancing, scuba diving, cooking, biking and gardening. I am an active person and spend as much time exploring natural wonders as I can. I find a lot of enjoyment from being outside, but that doesn't mean I don't like to go into the city for drinks and dancing. I also love trying new cuisines and cooking different kinds of meals.

Music, Movies, and Books
I find myself listening to a wide array of music most of it falls under the broad category of indie but I like folk, 80s, and even country sometimes too.
I go to the library a lot! I don't watch TV but instead I spend a lot of time listening to audio books or podcasts.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Honduras and camped in a cloud forest studying all different kinds of unique species for 2 months. Best experience so far and this has sparked my interest and comfortability with traveling and meeting new people from all over the world.
Road tripped across Alaska. Walked on a glacier and ran into a moose
Backpacked through Malaysia and Thailand.
Built latrines in Bolivia
Teach, Learn, Share
I love talking about geography and different cultures. I've lived in the midwest most of my life so I like to see how the different environments and customs shape peoples lives.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be a great help if you need help with dinner or groceries
