About Me

What can I say...I am a traveler, and I prefer backpacking to discover a country. But I am more specifically a Celtic girl Haha ! 🍀 I love meeting new people, chatting, learning new languages, new things.

I am very curious and I am always up to talk about many different subjects! I studied Literature, Philosophy, History, Geography, Latin and Ancient Greek.

I am from France, from Brittany. I am very proud of my region, and I love Celtic legends and Celtic mythology in general. And of course, Celtic landscapes! All of this folklore fascinated me !!!

I am also passionate by antique History, that’s why I am studying Latin and Ancient Greek. I feel like there is some mystery about it I need in my life. I love Ancient Greek and I am studying epigraphy and papyrus. (I could talk about it for hours).

Should I add that I love traveling and learning new languages ? I do speak English but I have to tell you that I have a terrible french accent 🇫🇷 I also learnt Spanish at school and traveled in Spain many times.
Two years ago, I started learning Italian (this lovely language) but it’s a shame I couldn’t go on that year. In fact, I am trying to learn German that year in University. Somehow, I like that language and it’s very useful when you studied Greek and Latin.
Oh, and I tried to learn the Arabic language as well with friends from my association. Yeah, so many languages I know, but it’s like everything, when you start, you can’t stop !

I collect flags from my travels, and I wish I will have a room for them when I will be older 💪🏼

~ LIFESTYLE ~ I do think that we all have a role to play in that world and we can choose which one we want to play. I chose to be an activist (to some extent). Acting will always be better than watching according to me.

I am vegetarian 🌱 It’s probably better to say it to avoid some awkward situations. I don’t impose my choice, I only live it everyday. I stopped eating meat a long time ago. No worries, I am not going to blame you if you eat meat, or even to say anything, everyone is free to do whatever he/she wants.

Refugees welcome ✌️

P.S. : I bought an Irish tin whistle. If you can teach me how to play it, I would love to!

P.P.S. : I live with my cat. Her name is Echo, she is a very nice cat, very friendly, full of energy because of her young age probably !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a couchsurfer because I want to discover a country through his people, and that is for me the best way to meet people from here.

As a host, I only accept people that have hosted before other surfers and that have reviews. Sorry for that!

I can help in cleaning, gardening, cooking, teaching, dancing, (not singing, it’s better for you, trust me), whatever you want haha !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling : life is not made to be in the same place. Sometimes, you just need to go in a new place by your own to open your eyes and see how beautiful is the world. It is hard to find one adventure to describe as I lived so many of them traveling around the world. But I guess the most incredible thing in traveling is meeting amazing people who could change your entire life ! ✌️

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a student in Paris, but I also was a French volunteer teacher. I taught French to refugees and migrants coming from overseas in Paris, because I think that everyone should have access to education, wherever you live and whoever you are. I was helping in French lessons and I organized many cultural events. I love sharing and creating, and that is so good to create something all together, such as an event.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share the culture of my country and my region. Well, I can cook crepes and teach french 🌟
