ABOUT ME
A woman with european origins, uncomplicated, a little sunshine is enough to make me smile.
As a scientist, I work a lot, but I like to take time for my friends, and for being outside. I enjoy gathering people in my house. Cooking all together, or just up for a simple "apéro".
Now I settled down in Avignon, it's a different lifestyle and I hope to meet new people here and to share this wonderful regions with travellers.
I spent much time in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, love the german language.I stayed a bit in the UK where I enjoyed the ever green parcs, room temperature ale, and roundabouts.
And I have a strong interest for eastern Europe, as I met many people from the Balkan in Austria. There are never enough occasions to go in such places where people are warm and welcoming!
PHILOSOPHY
Be yourself and stop complaining ! Be +++
Family and friends are the most important things, take care of them! Professionaly, be determined and upright.
Do not try to feel happy, just be happy!
If you took the time to read my profile until here, (that is great) I kindly ask you to write in your couch request "I like to walk bare foot in the grass" ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can cook, I'll cook ! and if I am lazy I just buy some drinks... If you visit me of course we've got to go out, if I visit you, you've got to bring me out, or at least to take some time for me, tell me about you, your place, you know...I do not practice CS as hotel service or other air BnB, in both cases. so it should be a simple, spontaneous and smiling time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In India where my two CS taught me about the customs and shared funny time (setting a strategy to get out of the local train or getting blessed by a shemale in Mumbai for instance!). In Vietnam where lovely people took me for a ride in the city and party. It allowed me to escape the tourists and touristic area as well as the backpacker industry.
Interests
Discovering other customs, other cultures, practice foreign languages. Science, especially applied to agriculture (for example how plants were domesticated by human to become crops) sports, politics, music and movies. I like hiking a lot, although I don't practice often enough.
