Music, Movies, and Books
I watch a lot of documentaries about a wide variety of important issues facing humanity. I'm also a lover of sci-fi, superhero and action movies.
I read a lot of books in the personal development space and I consume a lot of audiobooks as well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing a million people in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil during Carnaval was pretty amazing. Scuba Diving in Thailand was also amazing. The hot springs in La Fortuna, Costa Rica are wonderful!
I've been to the world's largest water gun fight too: Songkran in Thailand (there's New Year's Festival). It was insane.
Teach, Learn, Share
In 2015, you can truly live and work anywhere when you embrace online business models, work with clients remotely and/or you become a freelancer.
Life's short and I believe it's the only one we will ever have, so make the most of it.
As for travel-related "Teach, Learn, Share", I would say be aware of your surroundings, walk with a purpose and never walk down dark alleyways.
For extended stays in a foreign country, picking up a little bit of their language is not only fun & useful, you will earn appreciation & respect from the locals too.
As for dining, I prefer to eat with the locals whenever possible. It's a more genuine and authentic experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Interesting question. I believe I can share an enthusiasm and sincere interest in learning more about them, their community and their culture.
I also hope to share good laughs, food and stimulating conversations.
