I'm a globetrotter of Italian and German origins, who has chosen Québec City as a permanent home, after travelling around Europe and North America for about 4 years.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop learning, always try to do your best, be able to forgive. Be happy and make other people happy. Love your children more than yourself and anybody else.
My motto is : The sky is your limit.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few couchsurfers from Europe and Australia in the past, but I'm now less active. When I travelled around Italy with my boyfriend in 2008, I experienced being hosted by 3 wonderful people, who showed me the other side of the medal.

Music: jazz, folk, Canadian songwriters (I always listen to CBC radio 2), sometimes classic and opera.
Movies: Inception, Stranger than fiction, Before Sunset, Before Sunrise, Two days in Paris, The Science of Sleep, Les Aimants, The Piano, Amélie, Walk the Line.
Books: the Harry Potter series, any of Mitch Albom's books, The perfume...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have travelled from south-Western Canada up to Alaska on my own.
I have seen the most amazing sunrises from the deck of a ferry travelling along the Inside Passage; gigantic trees in the Canadian rainforest, a flock of migrating geese from the Bic Park in Québec, a herd of buffaloes blocking a motorway.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach: Italian, cooking (making bread and pastries, typical Italian recipes, some German recipes), decorating skills.
Learn: playing the piano and tap-dancing (not at the same time...)
