About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My goal in life is to meet as many people as I can. I also probably want to take your picture
ABOUT ME
I like people who smile. I like to cook all the time. I probably want to make you dinner. I have a dog named Turtle. I like to play dress up and have random photo shoots. I survived the London bombings, Hurricane Andrew, and Hurricane Katrina. I can't eat enough.....especially Mexican food and sushi. I am from a family with 5 generations of women. I am a big fan of red wine and cheese. I like going to the park and setting up my hammock, but mostly to play lots and lots of volleyball!
I teach high school senior English. Now, I live in a tiny house right in the middle of the city. I can see the Parthenon across the street, and take advantage of the take as often as possible!
Yea...that sounds about right. Anything questions, feel free to ask!!
PHILOSOPHY
You'll never remember what you choose to forget.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I mostly host, but have crashed several times as well. I prefer to host!! I love to entertain and feed my guests, so come hungry and ready to chat over some wine. I'm not really into taking people out on the town, because I wake up so early for work, but I loooooove sitting around and chatting with some good company!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted people for years!! I often make long term friendships out of the connections Ive made on this site. I've taken a break for about 2 years now, but mostly due to my extreme workload. If I can accommodate you, I will try my best!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived with a Macedonian host family during my training in the Peace Corps. They didnt speak any English...it's part of how I learned Macedonian, while serving. We didn't have any grocery stores, pharmacies, or even ATMs. Population: 700. It was by far the most interesting time of my life.
