Im obsessed with surfing and anything that has to do with the outdoors. When the surf goes flat, I enjoy experiencing other aspects of nature that the coast cant give me.

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently new to couchsurfing but am looking forward to the experiences and eager to meet some great people along the way.

Zainteresowania

Surfing, backpacking, hiking, and anything else that keeps me physically active.

Im also very passionate about graphic design and love to find inspiration through what other designers are putting out there. Ill wander through a town just to check out what kind of branding and store set ups the local stores/boutiques have or I'll wander in just to check out the labeling and packaging of the local goods.

Another source of inspiration for me is landscape photography. Im always captivated by what nature has to offer so I find inspiration for adventure, as well as design, by looking through what others have seen and experienced.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

Movies: I love comedies (especially those with Will Ferrell).
Anchorman, Super Bad, Due Date, The Hangover, Wedding Crashers, Old School, etc.

Music: Katchafire, SOJA, Collie Buddz, Iration, J-Boog, The Green, Jah Vinci, Kora, Trevor Hall, Groundation, Gentleman, Drake, and The Weeknd (to name a few)... also like The Killers. I like quite the variety I guess.

Books: Not much of a reader actually. Went to Nicaragua and got sick. I was half way through reading my book... I blamed the book and haven't picked one up since. The reality: The book probably had nothing to do with it...

Saw a shark chomp a seal a few yards away from me!

I was surfing back home in NorCal with my dad on New Years Eve a few years back when it happened. We were the only guys surfing the spot and the waves were going off. We were both sitting out back when a little seal swam right by us. It wasn't more than 20 yards past us when, out of no where, a great white came from beneath and chomped down on the helpless seal. The shark did a U-turn at the surface of the water and the entire tail half of the shark whipped out of the water fanning a 10 foot arch of blood water.

We frantically paddled to shore across a deep water channel and 15 minutes later we were safely on shore. It was an intense thing to see at such a close proximity and something I'll always remember.
