ABOUT ME

I'm a [mostly] domestic traveler. I'd love to say I'm on a mission but I live my life mostly day-to-day and try to focus on the now, and the people in it. I work hard, play harder, and live with my husband, three insane cats and two equally insane dogs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience hosting a couple years ago and also hosted a Couchsurfing community potluck. Can't wait to start hosting more again once we finish our guest room, and am excited to try this on the surfing side.

Movies: Anything by David Lynch, Ingmar Bergman, Fellini, Kubrick, the Coppolas, Wes Anderson, Jean-Luc Godard, Hayao Miyazaki, Akira Kurosawa, etc. And the original Star Wars trilogy.
Books: Nonfiction on Austrian economics and U.S. politics, Ayn Rand novels, Chuck Palaniuk, Kurt Vonnegut, old Stephen King, David Sedaris, true crime, Calvin & Hobbes.

I traveled to London when I was 18 and got a huge culture shock on excessive American living. We really do have more of everything in this country and don't always appreciate such things.
