About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I seek to incorporate the lessons I've learned from the seeming imbalance of the world through my travels to fulfill my duty as a student of life.

ABOUT ME

Enough about me! I recognize that there is a time to be serious (like not on the weekends. Or holidays. Or stressful situations.). I read books, sew clothes, bake like crazy, volunteer, and pursue social enterprise ventures as I find them. I paint/decoupage every place I move into to make it mine, and love to garden. I prefer Action to any other genre of movie. I'm addicted to travel, and real corn tortillas that you can only get in the southwest USA or Mexico. I finished my Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration Master's Degree, and was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to eat, laugh, and experience as much as possible. There are never enough hours in the day. I like to play my record player.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Climbed the World Peace Pagoda in Pokhara, Nepal with dear friends

2. Reunited my Grandpa with his estranged daughter

3. Witnessed my best friends kids growing up

4. Attended and wrote for music festivals all over the country

5. Cliff jumped and bon fired in the U.S. South... Just everything I've done in Nashville. I Nashvilled.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach- I know that EVERY person has a trait/quality that the world needs. As a development specialist, I identify this trait and can plug it into society where it may be best utilized. I'd love to meet you and let you know what I think. Let's talk!

Also, traveling is the single most important teacher and I think that is because people who travel are people who try and have their eyes open to the human condition.

Want to learn about cultures and sub cultures, even within the US. I'd like to identify unmet needs for the anthropologist in me.
