After working for a year as an aerospace engineer in Hamburg, I took taking half a year off to travel through Asia. I started in Russia and continued trough Mongolia, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan. After finding great hosts in those countries, it is now my time again to pay back to the community.

One thing you must know though: I currently live in my campervan, which I fixed up over the summer. Some might agree with me that it's pretty great, especially next to all the great lakes here in Sweden, but it's not for everyone. If you want to couchsurf in a camper van, please write me!

For me traveling is about learning about different cultures and challenging you own believes and assumptions. Couchsurfing and hitchhiking allows me get a far deeper insight, than any other form of traveling, while also allowing me to share something about my own culture.
So far I have only had positive and valuable experiences while couchsurfing and I don't expect this to change.

I did a student exchange for 1 year in the United States when I was 15.

I drove all the way to the North Cape with two friends in 2014.

I climbed up a 100m rockface with two friends.

I held a talk in front of 200 people. I have never been so nervous...

I started hanggliding and hopefully I'll able to continue this sport.

I hitchhiked through Ireland.
