About Me

Hello everyone, I'm a easygoing and creative person who is always up to do something and the best way to do this is together with other people; whether if its going for hiking, going for a run or visiting a city. And of course I like also to relax and celebrate on a night out. Respecting each other and having fun together is important for me and I also like to make conversation about more serious topics.
I'm flexible with nearly no expectations: sleeping one night on the floor or walking long distances doesn't bother me a lot, I always try to be positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My adventures taught me, that it's not about the places you are visiting but about the people with who you are spending these moments. Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet new people from around the world and to share with them experiences and good times. In addition its always nice to spend time with people who are living in the different places: they know the real life apart of the tourist sightseeing at that's what I want to see and show.

Interests

Cooking: I'm not a professional chef but I try to cook whenever and wherever I can, its kind of my obsession. I like to experiment around and try new dishes, ingredients and methods; that's my way to learn about new cultures and traditions and have a good time with people.

Fitness: I try to do as much sport as possible. Favourite workout is bodyweight training but I do also cardio, weight training, running and swimming. Lately I'm travelling so I do a lot of hiking too.

Bartending and Mixology: I worked as Bartender in Manchester and I can never get enough of making and creating great tasting and good looking drinks and to serve them to people.

Photography: This my newest hobby. I'm a beginner but I like to improve my skills to take seriously good photos of landscapes, buildings, food and people.

Graphic-Design: I developed logos for companies, business-cards, t-shirts and identity-designs for bigger events in my freetime.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quit easygoing with this things: I listen a lot to hiphop, rock and house but I change music genre every now and then, depends a bit also on the mood. I'm always open to new music.
I'm also not too picky about movies: my favourites of all the time will always be Batman: The Dark Knight and Star Wars. I like also Interstellar, District 9 and Inception and funny movies.
I love books and I spend hours reading about fantasy and criminal adventures in my childhood. Now a days my lecture is limited more or less on cookbooks and recipes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went for hiking in the Peak-District with many people from work when I was living in Manchester and everyone was from a different part of the world. Everything was perfect: the weather was surprisingly sunny (I had a massive sunburn), the landscape was amazing and everyone brought some homemade snacks from their country of origin and we shared everything on the top of the mountain. We had really good time together and celebrated with a cold beer at the end of the walk.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm coming from a border region in the north of Italy and grow up living in a mix of Austrian and Italian culture and language with a complicated history. I'm always happy to talk about my homecountry and to show the stunning mountains and landscapes and take you to places to try our delicious traditional food.
My greatest lesson was to move to Manchester for 2 years. I meet so many great people and I learned some many things that school is not able to teach you. Travelling and seeing new countries, new cultures and tradition is a priceless expansion of my horizon.
I try to share this things with other people and help whoever and where ever I can.
Let me know if you need someone for graphic-design or photography, help behind a bar or in the kitchen or just a mate for some workout-sessions, I'm always happy to share time with you.
