Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Usually I sleep in hostels or similar accomodation, but for my Syria trip I quickly had to realise that it is impossible to book hotels from afar in advance, so I'm trying out Couchsurfing for the first time. Also, I think it's an excellent way to meet locals in an authentic way :)

I've always been inspired by the adventures of the Indiana Jones movies. It's probably one of the key reasons why I'm so fascinated with the Middle East and more adventurous trips opposed to "standard" vacation in a resort.
