About Me

my name is Moe and I was born in cologne and have lived my whole life here.

I have an 2 room apartment with a good view over the City. There is enough space in the living room and a sofa where you can sleep. You can have pillows and everything else you need. There is a supermarket below my apartment. My apartment is located in Ehrenfeld which is the best district in cologne.

I like cooking and cooking together would be a great thing to do. Please note that i live vegetarian. Since I’m working and can be busy I usually can only offer short time stays, but I’m sure it’s still worth it.

I accept last minute requests. I don‘t like getting requests weeks before.

I would describe myself as pretty normal, sometimes overthinking and fighting with reality, having ideas in my head and not being able to implement any of them. Some fields I’m interested in are politics, stock markets, music.

Sometimes i might not be able to host you, but i'd be up for a beer and explain something about my city. Please tell me if that would be an option for you.

I’d be happy to meet you.

I am a big fan of setting no rules and trust my guests to behave properly.
Since there are cultural differences i found out, just a few thoughts:

No Showers in the night.
No shoes inside the house.
No sleep until midday before we didn’t talk about it
No meat inside the kitchen. Of course you can eat whatever you like outside.
If you are not sure about something, you can ask me. It's never disturbing.
I only speak two languages fluently (german and english). It would be good if you speak one of them.

Your request should contain a description about your ways of traveling. What kind of group describes you the best:

The tourist
Having a plans already and created a list on Google maps. You want to make the most of your short stay in cologne.

The party animal
You came for party, want to listen to techno and experience the full scale of German awkwardness in a city that most people don’t know about

The dreamer
You got some ideas in your head but don’t know yet and then you thought of something else. You’re not sure if you even want to go to Köln because you heard Hamburg is also nice

The pragmatic
You don’t want to sleep outside
