About Me

I am a very active person - I love to be outside whenever it is possible. Nature continues to amaze me in every way. It is truly incredible. I love sports, and maintain a very healthy lifestyle. An oil-free vegan diet without processed sugar is part of it.

I don't really go out at night, I don't like partying - I guess I am a morning person haha

Guests and hosts equally should know I am a true idealist. I believe that we CAN save our world, one step at a time. We do not have to see people starving, Mother Nature collapsing and hostility taking over. It is on us to shape our future!
At the moment, reducing my plastic consumption is part of this attempt to improve, but so is my diet and my aversion to wasteful behaviour.

My friends would probably describe me as an incredibly cheerful person. You may see me smile a lot - and if I do not manage to make it contagious, the next beer is on me, promised! (I don't drink, but of 'course you may. While I do believe in education, debates and convincing people to do the right thing, I dislike judgemental behaviour. I feel it doesn't really lead us anyway and may even be more destructive when working towards a noble cause.)

I love walking! Whenever I can, I try to avoid taking transport - I also absolutely love trekking/hiking.

Hosts and guests should be aware of the fact that I practise traveling "on a shoestring". That means I try hitchhiking, looking for the cheapest public transport, the best local food, and so on. ;)

Traveling is where I learn. It's where I grow as a person. I simply love it.

That being said - traveling for me isn't the same for me since I am @ CS. I can say that I have felt at home, met new friends and got immersed in culture in a very unique way. I am eternally thankful for that. While I travel solo, I am never alone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't want to visit places. I want to experience them.

I believe that peace and international communication only works on a solid base of a communal feeling of us, the people. I strongly believe we should stop thinking in categories of countries, class, age, gender, race.

Ask me anything! :)
And let me spark your mind...
