About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live and let live - missionaries are suspicious to me
ABOUT ME
Okay, let's start with the obvious: I'm a friendly, sociable and easy-going person. (I guess most people who like couchsurfing are.) Other than that, I'm open-minded and interested in many different things. It's important to me to also do something useful with my time, which is why I volunteer at an NGO in addition to studying at university. Having lived for a year in the US with a wonderful host-family when I was in high school has made me even more curious about getting to know people from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
I definitely like philosphy way to much to just squeeze it in a little box here. But if you're interested, we can talk about it for hours :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and would love to give people a tour through Vienna, my home city. Unfortunately, since I still live at home, I'm not able to host people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At first, I was a little suspicious of the thought of asking complete strangers to let me stay at their place. But it has proven to be the by far best way to get to know wonderful people. Besides, you'll never experience a place as good on your own as you can with locals.
Interests
Obviously, I love to travel. What's fascinating to me is to meet new people and getting to know them a little bit. I also like to cook, play chess and am interested in history, politics, art and many other things. When talking about sports, I like riding a bicycle and hiking.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie is probably the Godfather, but there are manz others I've also enjoyed - anything by Monty Python, Milk, Gattaca, The Bucket List, Christopher And His Kind, ...
Books are one of my favourite pastimes, so I love almost all of them, fiction as well as non-fiction. I'm only going to name three great ones: The Talented Mr. Ripley, Faust I, Die Schachnovelle. Right now I'm getting more and more into classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I absolutely loved how London can be rather quiet in some parts and yet beautifully buzzing and diverse in others. What's also been a very impressive was standing next to the Niagara falls, watching incredible amounts of water falling down.
