ABOUT ME

Ah.. describing oneself.. i'll try with the help of my parents:
My mom is a dynamic and busy person, who loves to party and never lost her youth spirit; my dad is more the chilly type of guy who loves the nature and enjoys exploring it.
I think I am like my genes 50% of each: i'd never miss a good party - but as well love to do sports outside - or just let some time pass and enjoy being a tiny little piece of the universe.. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't like to just roam from hostel to hostel just meeting travellers, I want to get to know the culture and people living at the places I visit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed already couches in Spain, Portugal and Morocco so far and I hope soon there will be more on the list from south america! As I hosted several travelers already myself in my flats in Spain, Portugal and Germany I know whats important for the host and how to be a good surfer!

All my experiences with CS were so nice so far, without any exception!

Interests

I like to do every kind of sport, individual or team. But i'm not a pro at any, i just like to play for fun and try out what i've never done!
Especially combining nature and sport is my favorite, like biking in the forest and mountains, snorkeling & scuba in the sea, doing canoe tours, hiking...
In the city I like beach volleyball, basketball and stuff..
In winter I love to snowboard, especially back country and fun park!
My latest addition to

I really like to cook and to eat! In another life I definitely would have become a chief. Actually who knows, maybe i'll become one one day hahaha

Last year I started learning to produce electronic music with Ableton which is a lot of fun! So if you're into that too lets start and jam together! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

=> Music: I got a very wide spectrum of music that i like. Sometimes too wide, as my friends say, (e.g. 'cause i love 90's/Trash parties) :D

I think the best music is the one making you dance/sing along, no matter if it's classic rock, 20's swing or pop music from nowadays radio (although i can't listen very long to casual stations)

In my teenage i listened very much of "Die Ärzte", a punk/rock band from germany, but today the bands i like range from north (Movits! Sweden) to south (Ska-P Spain).

As i like to party to techno, DnB, Deep House and electronic tunes i can chill to reggae or bob dylan :-)

As I'm always on the hunt for good music i don't know yet, i'd really like your recommendations and listen to your favorite music. :)

=> Movies: I love to watch films! There are pretty much 2 kinds of movies, i enjoy watching:
The ones making you think, no matter weather it's because of interesting thoughts and ideas or because they're a little confusing.
The others are entertaining ones or cult movies.
Ahh... actually i like all kinds of movies, they just have to be interesting in some way. :) Ah and i forgot Scifi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love to fly and dive! To move in 3-dimensional space is just awesome! For example flying in a plane and perform aerobatics is an incredible feeling; the one moment you're weightless feeling falling free, the next you're pressed into the seat with a multiple g-force lying on you... that's what i love! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Of course I can teach some german! or expand your knowledge of physics, as that was my study subject.

As I wrote I love cooking, so if you like let's just cook together. I'm always curious about new dishes and techniques :)

In case we meet on a skiing slope I can teach you how to snowboard :)

I'm not very good at it so far but I'd like to learn to play instruments more!
