I am 26 years old and a passionate philosophile. Talking about the great ideas and living them is what I love and do. My days are spent taking in a lot of information from books, the internet, and other people, and working on the future of education. If you love to have intelligent conversations I am all yours!

My personal philosophy is something best talked about from face to face, but it is very much focused around being as free as I can be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently living in Vilnius in an apartment with a friend. Unfortunately we're not able to host right now. I will go surf in the hopes of getting to know many openminded persons.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a couple times now: first in Gent, Belgium for a great week long summer university. My host was very nice and even had an inflatable mattress to sleep on. Second, in Bari in Italy with a friendly guy showing me the city and helping me to find my way to beautiful Barletta.

Interests

In my free time I read a lot, I debate with people, and until recently rode the unicycle. Other than that I am interested in the studies of philosophy, the arts, and the mind. My intellectual and actionable interests also include entrepreneurship, technology (like bitcoin and 3d printing), self-knowledge and intimate personal relationships. I have recently started to take up running to have sports back in my life and nurture more discipline in me.

Favourite movies: Inception, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, There Will Be Blood

Favourite music: changes from year to year. I enjoy listening to many different styles (Jazz, Hiphop, Indie, Rock, Electronic...). Some great bands/ acts are Queen, Muse, Gorillaz, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean, Hans Zimmer, Telemann...

Favourite books: oh so many!!! Antifragile (Nassim Taleb), A Lodging of Wayfaring Men (Paul Rosenberg), Tempo (Venkatesh Rao)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have camped at a Swedish lake and then went swimming in the icecold water in the early morning and saw the sun rise above the trees.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people about practical philosophy, how to incorporate philosophy into one's personal life, what the future looks like, solving the Rubik's cube... Other stuff I can help with: unicycling, English and German language, write your name in Arabic.

What I like to learn: your unique perspective on life, love and happiness, some musical skills (I don't have any), new dance moves, anything that has to do with self-sufficiency etc.
