Overview
About Me
I'm an easy going guy from Austria currently doing a PhD in Computer Science. I enjoy (mountain) sports, creativity and deep talk. Generally I consider myself to be open minded and always ready to experience something new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hands down the best way to experience new places, apart from staying with locals I feel like a lot of the world is just the same (like hotels/hostels + tourist quarters). Won't consider myself a classic tourist, I like to get to know the soul of a place rather than the concrete blocks.

Music, Movies, and Books
My top spotify artists as of lately: Hippo Campus, Jordan Rakei, Bonobo, Mac DeMarco, TTNG, Birocratic, Death Cab for Cutie, Bombay Bicycle Club, Sure Sure, HalfNoise ... there's just too many great bands out there. Don't read a lot, though really enjoy the work of Alan Watts, Huxley and Hesse. Lots of movies to list, gotta like the classics like Fight Club or The Big Lebowski, also some teeny flicks can actually be quite enjoyable (thinking about Perks of being a Wallflower).

Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach German, rock climbing, Microadventures, piano, guitar, lifelessons, freaky IT stuff, Austrian cuisine. Would love to learn about any other language/culture, also playing cello is on my bucketlist.
