After doing my abitur in 2012 I spent one year in Karlsruhe, where I worked with youths. This was a great, but also challenging time! I traveled in Scandinavia for about 3 months helping on organics farms and exchanging knowledge about a sustainable life.
Now I study mathematics and physics at the university in Freiburg to become a teacher.
Therefore I went to South Africa to get some teaching experience at a German/International school in Johannesburg. I kind of fell in love with Africa, Johannesburg and of course the cape region.

To sum it all up: I love being outside, doing sport, enjoying the nature and meeting new people who might challenge my view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get in touch with nice people either as a host or as a traveler. It's always great to meet some locals.

I'm huge into photography! Not really professional, but I enjoy challenging myself to get the perfect shot.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! I guess everybody does! These are some artists I like in particular: John Mayer, Mumford and Sons, Of Monsters and Men, Coldplay and AnnenMayKanterei.

During the holiday season I also read a lot (If I'm not to busy with traveling, Oder studying:( ) maybe you can recommend a great novel or science book?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Helping to build a self-sustainable house on the Lofoten islands in Norway. Drinking instant coffee (Amazing how bad coffee can taste :P)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm huge into coffee and love to spread and teach how to get the perfect cup in the morning. I could also teach you some basic stuff in photography. I'd love to get some drawing skill, so it would be awesome if you can show me how to get started ;-)
