PHILOSOPHY

there can not be peace on earth as long as there is war in love !

i really think, that every one of us can make the difference. it is a decision to leave the usual paths and to go for peace. and then it is a big research, what is peace ? how will it be, when all beings live in trust together, when our economy is not driven by competition, but by mutual support ? how is it to live on planet earth with the conciousness of her being one living organism and we as her organs cant even think to pollute the habitats of other organs of her ?
the changes we need to make lie in ourselves, we have to evolve innerly, change the patterns educated upon us and find a vision, how peace looks like. at the same time it is important to do the first steps now, lead a non-violent, non-participatory, non-consumerist and non-polluting lifestyle as far as we can.

on this journey toward peace i take joy, ease and power as guidelines, that i am on the right way, a way with heart.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i started to connect to the couch surfing family during my biketour around the mediterenean sea, when i was gifted by the opportunity to meet amazing friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

most of my couch surfing experiences happened without the website, just meeting people one the streets or though friends - but some really amazing things happened through the website.

once i was sitting in jerusalem behind asaphs computer mailing with engy about me staying in cairo. asaph was like " hey, invite her over" and through that i facilitated a dialogue between them, where both learned more about their different realities, living in two countries officially in peace with each other - that engy would have a really hard time to get visa for israel and then be for years on the lists of the egyptian secret service - while asaph would not feel very safe in cairo - everyone at home fearing for his life if he would go.
and to visit engy then was a great warm welcome to modern cairo society, beautiful, thank you !

another big help was to stay with termite1 - i was tired of traveling in arab countries, of this super generous hospitality from people whom i hardly could communicate with on a language level. and with him i found a piece of europe in tunesia, someone coming from the same cultural background, home for 3 days.

Interests

i want peace on earth, between all beings, for real. to live in trust and mutual support with everyone and every being. in tamera i found a place where we study the struktures in me/us, which lead to war and change them. most often it is connected to patterns in love, lying under all those conflicts we have every day - so this is our resaerch area, love and community.
i like music -to make some, to listen to it, to dance to it or to dance without it 8) and nature - the oceans, rivers, mountains of this world, want to cycle to/in them and hike and sleep and see and enjoy. i really like to give shiastu treatments and also love to be massaged. then i love sleeping in my hammock and - my latest discovery - playing go. i also love to eat and like a lot to cook - lets exchange some nice recipies:) and i like to practice yoga, it is sooo good for me, i am just so lazy in the morning....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

bialowieza national park/poland - the last or at least biggest old-growth forrest in europe - an amazing celebration of life, every direction it looks different - a spiritual experience
