About Me

I am currently a full-time traveller in the process of building a location-independent lifestyle.

I am a highly intuitive and extroverted person who strives on new experiences, acquaintances, variety, getting to know different cultures and trying all kinds of new food.

I love getting under the surface of the places I visit.

Until now, I've found something adorable in every country I've visited, but I didn't love every place equally.

I left pieces of my heart in India and Myanmar.

I've travelled a lot on my own but also with people I know and didn't know.

I don't know the feeling of boredom.

I love lists and constantly make some for books to read, movies to watch and places to visit. I sometimes follow throigh with them.

I love my hometown Budapest and my adopted hometown Vienna.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I' m on CS in order to get below the surface of the places I visit. I think it's a very unique way to shadow local life and actually learn something about each place from a local point of view.

Since I'm travelling frequently I'm unable to host at the moment but am game for meetups with locals and travellers alike.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

I don't care about the genre or the artist; if it sounds good I will listen to it!

That said, some of my favourites are The Killers and Sigur Ros.

And I really like World Music!

Books:

I always read one book about the country I am currently travelling at.

The White Tiger (India), Private Dancer & Sightseeing (Thailand) & Burma: A Nation at the Crossroads were some of my favourites.

Apart from that, I like books with wicked twists, e.g. "I let you go", "We were Liars" & "Girl on the Train".

Movies:

Twists, again and movies that get you thinking for weeks.

Mulholland Drive, Donnie Darko, Never let me go and Wild Tales are some good examples.

I also like documentaries. Waltz with Bashir for example or Taxi to the dark side.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my office-job to get back my life and free time to do the things I love.
