CURRENT MISSION
meet people over the world
ABOUT ME
am a Moroccan named Jones Ait Said Oualla. I speak French and English, a little Spanish and Italian. I would love to traveal and discover the world to meet people and experience new cultures So for this reason i m working a guid because meeting people it mean for me the halve of travel . I m an open mind and i believe there is no fundamental difference between peoples despite our differences of colour, culture and ideas. Whatever the climate of international relations, the principle of human dignity remains the same.I hope to take part in building an open world without borders in which there is mutual respect, confidence and peace.
Morocco is a tolerant country in which many civilizations came into contact and lived side by side through the ages. It has an ancient history, especially that of the Berbers (http://www.amazighworld.com) who mixed with many different peoples: Phoenicians, Romans, Vandals, Arabs, Jews, then French and Spaniards. The result is that Morocco has a wealth of historic monuments and ways of life (Berbers living in tents or small villages, Kasbahs, Centres of Islamic Learning and Sufism).
My country offers a whole world for those interested in anthropology, theology and literature, a varied panorama of seas, deserts and mountains in close proximity, and a wealth of different cultures from one Berber tribe to another.
If you pass through Morocco one day, do please come and visit. You are welcome in my house,a really hospitality and you will pay the accomodation and every things by our (devise) is thanks which can accommodate up to five guests. I live in Midelt, a small, pleasant town between Meknes and Errachidia and at the foot of the Eastern High Atlas which you can cross in four days by mule or on foot.
With my knowledge of the mountains and the desert sands, the culture and the history of the area I will guid you to discover a different, hidden Morocco far from the tourist traps and luxury hotels.
Along zigzagging paths and hilltop tracks, whether in the Atlas or the Sahara, chance encounters with nomads will prove the hospitality of the locals and lead to magic moments around a pot of mint tea.
I also aim to help fight poverty by employing nomads, mountain dwellers and desert peoples as muleteers, camel drivers and porters or by bringing them house guests.
All are welcome!
