Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live 1+ year on every continent and immerse myself in what they offer: music, language, people
ABOUT ME
I'm a quiet person and prefer to sit and talk rather than always trying to "do" something.
Lived in South America in several places, North Africa and spent a great deal of time in Europe.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and let live, be nice and get along. Modern books, classic movies, vegetarian food is the way to go. Borrow books, don't buy them. Give to the beggars, even if they are scammers. Be a good man to a woman that deserves it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I live in a small room in a hotel owned by a Moroccan family, so I'm not able to invite people to stay so much as show them around my little town on the edge of the Sahara, one known for being an ancient trading post for the Tuaregs at the end of their epic journeys in the desert (the town's people are mentioned in the Nobel-winning novel 'Dèsert' by LeClezio).
Interests
Guitar player, athlete, book worm and traveler. Language enthusiast, loves cooking and hiking. Literary ambitions, itinerate musician and blogger.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Big fan of endurance sports. Hoping to one day run 100 miles in a day.
Earlier this year, packed up my car with my things from California, drove 1000 km through the night, met up with my friends at 2 AM, and at 3 AM started running 42 miles in the Grand Canyon (18 hour trek from side to side to side) - on zero sleep.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach how to write your name in Arabic script, very high level on guitar, or pontificate on LatAm literature. Willing to teach guitar with unflagging enthusiasm for hours and hours.
